Patronat medialny nad sezonem koncertowym 2023 / 2024 Filharmonii Zielonogórskiej im. Tadeusza Bairda sprawuje Polskie Centrum Informacji Muzycznej POLMIC.

3 maja 2024 o godz. 19.00 Filharmonia Zielonogórska zaprasza na wyjątkowy majowy muzyczny wieczór. Wirtuozi fortepianu - Książek Piano Duo - dzięki Narodowemu Instytutowi Muzyki i Tańca wystąpią w ramach programu „Scena Muzyki Polskiej”.

W wykonaniu Agnieszki Zahaczewskiej-Książek i Krzysztofa Książka usłyszymy utwory Karola Szymanowskiego, Ignacego Feliksa Dobrzyńskiego, Ignacego Friedmana, Juliusza Zarębskiego, Romana Maciejewskiego oraz arcydzieła Fryderyka Chopina.

Muzycy są zwycięzcami II Międzynarodowego Konkursu Muzyki Polskiej im. Stanisława Moniuszki w Rzeszowie (2021), zdobyli także II nagrodę i Nagrodę Specjalną za najlepsze wykonanie dzieł Schuberta na XXI Międzynarodowym Konkursie Duetów Fortepianowych im. F. Schuberta w Jeseniku oraz tytuł finalisty i nagrodę specjalną na III Międzynarodowym Konkursie Duetów Fortepianowych im. Suzany Szӧrenyi w Bukareszcie (2019).

Every year, the Grand Theater in Poznań throws a birthday celebration for its patron. This year, as part of the celebration of the 205^th anniversary of birth of Stanisław Moniuszko, on the 5^th of May, 2024 at 6.00 p.m. in the Theater Foyer we will hear his songs, arias, duets and musical surprises...

In addition to Moniuszko's masterpieces, we will hear forgotten works by Konstanty Gorski, Jan Skrzydlewski, Henryk Opieński and Adam Münchheimer. Classics and musical discoveries in one programme!

The European Center Memory, Education, Culture invites you to a unique concert of the Berlin duo Kermani-Gentili (Kymia Kermani, clarinet, and Alba Gentili-Tedeschi, piano), as part of the project "Berge unterwegs zum Mond" (Mountains on the way to the moon) on the 8^th of May 2024 at 5 p.m., the Polish premiere of works by Magdalena Buchwald, Joanna Stępalska-Spix, Gabriela Moyseowicz and Ida Gotkowsky will be performed.

The project, presenting Polish-German musical connections in Berlin, Hamburg, Karlsruhe and Görlitz / Zgorzelec, was created with the support of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Media (BKM), the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the Ilse Foundation and Dr. Horst Rusch.

During the concert in Zgorzelec, we will hear for the first time Transitiones by Magdalena Buchwald (composed especially for this occasion), Zur Erinnerung by Joanna Stępalska-Spix arranged by Barbara Heller for clarinet and piano, Duo für Uli und Tina Metz by Gabriela Moyseowicz and Image de Norvège by Ida Gotkowsky.

We will also hear works by Krystyna Moszumańska-Nazar, Agata Zubel, Krzysztof Penderecki, Witold Lutosławski, Fryderyk Chopin, Tadeusz Baird, Grażyna Bacewicz and Zbigniew Rudziński.

The Department of Wind Instruments of the Academy of Music in Łódź invites you to the 7^th Józef Ciepłucha International Academic Competition for Oboists and Bassoonists. Its inauguration will be a Musical Evening on 6^th of May at the main seat of the Academy - the historic Karol Poznański Palace. Two-stage auditions will be held on May 6-8. The results of the competition will be announced on Wednesday, the 8^th of May, during the winners' concert. The inauguration of the Competition, auditions and the awards ceremony are open to the public.

The competition is intended for students of oboe and bassoon classes at Polish and foreign music universities. Talented music school students who meet the programme requirements can also take part. The mandatory programme includes, among others: Suite for oboe and piano by Stefan Kisielewski and Sonatina for bassoon and piano by Aleksander Tansman.

The Silesian Philharmonic - Silesian Chamber Orchestra conducted by the director of the Silesian Philharmonic, Adam Wesołowski, will perform during a concert organized on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition at the Museum of the Upper Silesian Land in Ratingen on the 4^th of May, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., dedicated to the silver mine in Tarnowskie Góry.

The Tarnowskie Góry silver mine, like the Zollverein mine and coking plant industrial complex, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The event also commemorates the 20^th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union.
